"Red dot obsession" may have been "Troll with faulty memory". I had the idea that Belgian Surrealist Rene Magritte FREQUENTLY inserted large red dots into his works.
A quick trip through the innernets didn't show this, however. Mostly boobies, bowler hats, apples, and self-portraits.
Yours is my favorite- and I'm not just saying that...nor am I biased or partial :)
I'd love to talk to you one day (at length and in person) about your Mexico trip- The painting is spiritual and mystical...reverent- but "open"- and the blue...the blue...the blue- sigh-

These are the times I wish that the special effects from Mary Poppins were real and one could step right into a painting...I would love to step into yours.

Wow! I'm not a fan of all of these paintings, but I really like yours. I agree with Thursday, too. Except that I wouldn't want to be in The Yellow Christ, because knowing how gullible I can be, he might dupe me into standing in while he "hits the can".
