hi overwhelmed and panic stricken, i was wondering if weeding included weed?

haha

those ornaments are tres cool.

i have a killer headache.... the doctor/specialist guy, the one who is leading the research and developing new meds.... that guy took my case yesterday, and went from optimistic, to hopeful.

He is an excellent doctor and we talked about every aspect of my case.

He is switching all my meds and said that all the previous doctors have no idea what they are talking about.

However, I made him start me on herbal options like feverfew and magnesium. He thinks i am too conservative when it comes to medications, but I must start at the bottom, because that's how I roll. I do not want the one that he will have to monitor my liver while i take it... except the feverfew magnesium riboflavin and something else combo gelcap smells like ass and upsets my stomach.

My hea is KILLING me right now and I have taken every medicine I have.

Anyway, Mr. She is lucking out with you for a wife.

Being a wife sounds like fun, even if you get panic stricken and overwhelmed. I like making people I love happy, and it seems like you are doing a first rate job on this party. Do guests get to take an ornament home with them?

Have a rocking time, and do not drink too much tequila at the party like I know you will.

All my love,

Vaniiiiiiille

120? wow...
i'd be stressing too. weeds? isn't it amazing. everything has died in my garden but the weeds.

my hubz invited over 100 folks to my 40th. it was great fun but i knew only about 10 of those folks since we had just moved here. it was his hometown though.

i invited ca 20 of the folks he feels most comfortable around for his 40th. and then i followed it up with a whitewater rafting trip.

you have a great bash. it sounds like it will be a ton of fun. and remember ... have fun yourself!
oh, and wish mr. she a happy birthday from the blogging world.

ps: i hope all your howling buddies are housebroken..

love em! Really (heck they can be used at Halloween, Christmas and even Cinco de Mayo too!! =]

I'll be over to help ya weed tomorrow if ya need me(I work for drinks)! =]

Just remember that it will be dark... people will be drinking and no one will notice anything but those fab ornaments and all the effort you put into the party planning (although I bet you make it seem easy... 'ohhh this ole thing... it was nothing... I just figured out the menu yesterday..."

I am sure you will have everything just perfect and can hardly wait to see photos and hear the details!

Point out that the only people who celebrated "birthdays" in the Holy Bible were wicked pseudo-king Herod and his foul progeny.

Refuse to participate on moral grounds.

The ornaments remind me of that creepy "Take all of December Off" pagan ritual that Mexicans do.

thank you ALL for stopping by. it means the WORLD to me that you stopped by..the pat on the back i really needed. i am isolated in my studio alone and working. i wish all of ya'll were here with me painting. thank you thank you.

at this stage of life there really isnt any gift i can give Mr She other than labor and creativity. its easy to go out and buy a gift...creating a vision that makes a memorable event is a labor of love.

what i have to offer him as his wife is to make a party that everyone tells him later "i had a ball at your birthday bash!"..he wanted to have a great party favor for everyone to take home.....hence the calaveras. i chose calaveras because Mr. She is turning 50! thus...he's OLD near DEATH. so the skeleton heads are a natural. plus, i know that everyone likes these.

i made all these wild custom decorations and there is some gorgeous lighting for the band room...some of the best musicians in this city will be here....so there will be some great jams with mr she's band and friends...i also am setting up a paint bar where there is an entire wall of paper where you can paint a birthday wish to Mr. she...great food...i have a birthday cake being made: a seafoam green stratocaster inside its case which has orange fur...the cake lady is making an exact replica life size. its going to be a huge chunk o' chocolate!

i just finished the yard and it was so hot i was delerious. but it looks great. i hope i can stay awake at the party saturday.

by the way vanille, i usually dont drink tequila at parties im in charge of. grrrrherhaha.

ya'll are the best.i wish you all could be here with me. id love to throw a blogger bash someday.
i will post some photos or video of next week.

Last year, my wife actually remembered to have a card ready ON my birthday...AND she didn't ask me to pick up a cake for myself!
This was a major accomplishment for her.

wow. what a party. sounds fun ... or scary, depending on your perspective, i guess. being a lupa at heart ... a part for me involves hanging in the luxury of silence and solitude with my lupin. (each to their own, right?) that many people, all in one place, would send me scurrying into the woods. hee hee. fortunately for me, mr. mantissa had his fill of big and bright parties as a UN brat (childhood). so ... *whew* ... i am off the hook.

indeed, the best present a wife can give the hubz is time ... creativity and love. IMHO.

have a blast.

lookit, Pete left som e ham for you puppy.

You are an excellent wifey... I wish I was someone's wife, but barring that, I wanna be the CAKE LADY!! How fun to make a lifesized cake, and replicate orange fur guitar case lining. That cake alone must cost close to 100 bucks or more, I used to work in a bakery and custom jobs don't come cheap. (guitars, or cakes, but especially not cake guitars!)

My head is better today.

But 3 people were electrocuted here yesterday when lightning hit a powerline and knocked a live wire to the pools of rainwater.

We are not underwater here yet, but half of the Midwest is, and there have been several deaths of drowning.

You know you were weeding on the record hottest day in ATL yesterday, 104 degrees.

hope it has cooled down some.

I wish I could go to that party.

I wish someone would throw ME a party.

Peace out Hoooooooooome SKILLET.

HEY!

Remember to take an hour or two off for yourself today. I know you have a lot to do, but take Trout for a walk, or have a bath tonight or just go into town for some coffee and the paper. (or look at a cool art book for an hour.... *wink*)

It is not being lazy to relax and decompress today, it is being prudent. I mean this puppy, DO NOT make me take out my rolled up newspaper!!

Thank you for revealing Mr. She's rapidly advancing age.

Since I am "decades and decades" more youthful (mentally and emotionally, in particular), I CAN continue to go on living, secure in the belief that I have a viable shot at becoming "Mr. She II* (* that's "2", not "11", BTW).

And so, with this post you have also provided yours truly with a gift: The Gift of "Hope".

My families totally DORKY birthday song:

da da da na na na---UH!
(two three four)

"Have a happy birthday,
whether you're 90 or 2...

We'd like to wish a happy,
happy birthday to you...

Three hundred and sixty five days,
seems like an awful lot...

But then before you knoooooow it,

Another year is shot!

Piew!!

(shoot off imaginary pistol in the air, make noise of pistol firing and then blow on your imaginary pistol/finger barrel and holster it while then continuing on with the chorus)

Have a happy birthday.
A happy birthday to you.

We'd like to wish a happy,
happy birthday to you!!

(finis)

Many happy returns of the day to Mr. She, and tell him from me that he don't look a day past 38!

Boney,

I am pretty sure that cats LIKE to paint.

I like catprints, they always seem to wait until you are through, and then they have a crack at painting when you are not looking...

Gosh, I hope SHE comes back at some point. SHE is a good blogger.

One possible explanation is that the Jorja Bulldogs are tired of being crushed by the MIGHTY GATOR NATION.

And they're replacing "UGA" the bulldog with SHE the rotty.

Just a thought.

GO GATORS!
